The all-new Volvo XC90 has received 266 pre-orders in just two months of it’s unveiling in India. The top-end inscription model has seen high interest with first deliveries of the all-new XC90 to customers will start later this month.
Globally 76 per cent of customers have chosen the top end Inscription model. The Inscription package is designed for customers that want an elegant look and a luxurious experience.
This is the first model on its new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) technology and globally the company has received over 57,000 orders. The Torslanda plant in Gothenburg, Sweden has just started up a third production shift to meet customer demand for the new XC90.
The new XC90 will be available in D5 Inscription and Momentum trims, 2.0L 4Cylinder, automatic8-Speed AWD with 225HP and a whopping 470Nm torque. The SUV’s new engine family VEA (Volvo Engine Architecture) comes with another world-first i-ART technology that helps to cut fuel consumption in the new diesel engines.

The Volvo XC90 is priced at Rs. 77.9 Lakhs – Inscription and Rs. 64.9 Lakhs – Momentum (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai without Octroi).
The Volvo XC90 will compete with the likes of Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE-Class SUVs.
