Yamaha Motor India Sales marks a brilliant start to the year 2015 with 21% growth in domestic sales in January
Company upbeat about 2015 with its exciting consumer connect initiatives and upcoming stimulating product line up
Continuing with its upward skew of sales growth, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. has registered a growth of 21% in domestic sales during January’ 2015 as compared to the corresponding period last year. The month witnessed a mega campaign celebrating the first anniversary of Yamaha’s Children safety campaign and the company’s maiden mascot ‘Zippy’.
Driven by its innovative efforts, ongoing customer-centric activities and exciting product line-ups, the company strengthened its position by clocking domestic sales of 39,309 units in 2015, compared to 32,534 units in 2014 thereby registering a domestic sales growth of 21%.
Commenting on the company performance, Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd, said, “The incessant growth reinforces our belief in our business and strategic Outlook. We are happy with our gradual growth and are extremely positive about 2015 with our new launches and innovative customers connect programs. Leveraging on the same, we will garner major sales and will be able to post some record numbers in the coming months. Upbeat about the future, we are eager to replicate and improve upon our last year’s achievements in 2015 too.”
